It exploits an very old technique called ARP cache poisoning, to convince all other nodes on your LAN that your own machine is the default gateway. After this, all their Internet-bound traffic will be sent to your box instead of their intended destination, and only you will have real Internet access.

How to use SelfishNet
- Open SelfishNet as administrator
- Select the Network Interface card then hit Ok
- Click Network Discovery to detect all devices connected to the network that you are in
- Click Start redirecting-spoofing
- Then you can block or set a limit to anyone connected to your network
SelfishNet can either limit the download/upload speed or completely block the internet of a particular system. To limit download/upload speed, just set the limit under “Download/Upload Cap” and click on the flash button. If you want to block the internet completely, put a tick mark on the block check-box and click on the flash button.
